Retired and moved to "Thumper Acres"-home of the 4 stroke single cylinder motorcycle, ATV, etc. Taught Automotive Technology for 29 years and took advantage of a RIP over a year ago. Wife thought I was having to much fun not working so she retired early w/o a RIP and we moved to Moses Lake, WA. We lived in Anchorage AK for 20 years, I was born there, wife in Eastern OR. Our 2 adopted kids are on their own, one still working on getting MAT degree so he can get a real job teaching vocal music and daughter who is buying her first house in FL - hurricane alley. We got a dream retrement home, small house big shop for me with loft studio for wife to practice her arts and craft activity. Close enough to be able to help her mother and on sisters family farm but far enough away from them to remain friends. I orginally taught at the CC here so this was a known weather place. Last winter in AK just about did us in. Long, dark and cold. Since moving here we've had over 90 days of perfect ridng weather, high 80's today. I use any excuse to "scoot". Really enjoy this forum and hope some of you may be this way some day and need an "dehydration prevention stop". Max
